Innovent Solutions Releases SolrConnect 2.0.1

IRVINE, CA – October 12, 2015 – Innovent Solutions, Inc., a leading integrator of eCommerce search and merchandising solutions, today releases version 2.0.1 of its Apache Solr search extension for Magento, called SolrConnect. The new version provides for incremental updating of the Solr index.

Many retailers, particularly ones with larger product catalogs, do not want to have to perform an entire index update when only a few products have changed. The incremental index update looks for products that have been added, changed or disabled since the previous index update and only sends the required updates to the Solr index thereby increasing efficiency and speed of the indexing process and ensuring user's searches are met with the most up to date information.
