Course Description This 2-day, intermediate hands-on class is a follow-on to the GSA 101 - Quick Start class and is designed to take students to the next level of functionality and capabilities of the appliance. You will walk away with the knowledge and skills to deploy more features, especially around security and integrating more content sources. This course introduces:
- Searching real-time data using OneBox Modules
- Searching people data using the LDAP connector
- Searching databases using the database connector
- Searching large SharePoint servers using the off-board connector
- Configuring more features such as biasing, user added results, and user alerts
- Configuring redundancy and fail-over using mirroring
- Searching secure content protected by cookies, Kerberos, and multiple identities
- Improving authorization performance using ACLs
- Accessing any secure system using SAML
- Improving search quality with reporting.

- VPN Setup (if not done before coming to class)
- More on searching SharePoint
- Searching real-time data using OneBox Modules
- Searching people data using the LDAP connector
- Searching databases using the database connector
- Configuring redundancy and fail-over using mirroring
Day 2
- Searching secure content protected by Kerberos
- Searching secure content protected by cookies
- Improving authorization performance using ACLs
- Configuring more features such as biasing, user added results, and user alerts
- Tracking and improving search quality using reports
