Course Description This course is intended for application developers who are already familiar with Actuate e.Reporting Suite. The course focuses on the report design process and environment, including discussions of the Actuate framework, object-oriented concepts, the fundamentals of Actuate Basic, and the types and behaviors of Actuate Foundation Class methods. Students learn how to develop reports with custom SQL queries, how to customize controls, sub reports, data streams, and pages, and how to create dynamic content. The course also provides information about how to optimize Actuate reports to ensure maximum efficiency, reusability, and ease of maintenance.
