Course Description
This course covers the customization of the iPortal for JSP web reporting application. The focus is on the structure of the application and the various components and technologies that comprise it. In a hands-on lab environment, students use JSPs, JavaScript, HTML, and other standard web technologies to customize web templates. This course also describes tasks related to providing security in the web reporting site, and how to integrate Active Portal for JSP into a single security domain.

Course Prerequisites
To get the most out of the course students should be familiar with the following:

• Web server administration
• Familiarity with the Actuate product suite
• Experience constructing web sites with HTML and JSP
