How Can We Help You with BIRT?

Innovent has helped clients to adopt and use both the completely Open Source BIRT as well as commercial products known as Actuate BIRT.  We are an active member of the BIRT development community since project inception in 2004.  During this time we have worked with a number of companies that have implemented BIRT both as a stand-alone and integrated reporting product.  In particular, Innovent Solutions has helped a number of software vendors to create BIRT solutions for distribution as part of a product suite. 

Our experience includes working with BIRT as an embedded reporting solution, which includes report development, deployment and application integration.  For deployment, we have created framework code that can be used to create an OSGi based web application that uses Google Web Toolkit to add Ajax functionality to the the running, viewing and modification of report designs. 

For report development our experience includes working with the development of company specific libraries that help to promote re-use within a set of reports.  In addition, we have deep experience extending the standard BIRT modules.  We have experience with all of the major extension points including the data (ODA), report item, and emitter interfaces.
