We have partnered with the several BI vendors, but consider our approach valuable regardless of the reporting tool. We work with the tools that best match a client's business requirements with the goal of leveraging existing IT infrastructure.

Project Leadership

Effective project leadership means more than just following a plan, it also means understanding the business and culture that encompasses a project. Over the course of our experience delivering Business Intelligence and Enterprise Reporting solutions we have developed a project management methodology (and that is methodology with a small "m") with a fully scalable framework. The focus of our project leadership efforts is to deliver solutions that generate business value in the most efficient and effective means possible, within budget, and to project deadlines.

We build our project plans and deployment strategies with the knowledge and experience gained from many successful implementations and technology challenges. We incorporate the client processes and milestones on which the business depends. People and tasks are appropriately matched so that team members can obtain the project's objectives and each member can realize personal success.

Technical Leadership

Sound technical leadership means architecting a solutions framework that accommodates both current objectives and future requirements for growth. Innovent Solutions has developed a standard set of report tools and libraries based on common requirements from our clients to accomplish this.

Once an appropriate framework is established, deliverables are broken down into smaller units of work, or components. Using a component based development strategy we are able to accurately estimate development time, distribute responsibility for development, and create reusable components that are easily implemented across organizational and departmental reports.

Process & Change Management

We implement and follow a set of standard development processes during each project to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables. Source control plays a key role in this; it allows file management between team members, version control and consistent build quality. Change management processes are utilized to maintain an orderly development process and keep the project on schedule. Team members can expect to complete the project having learned good development practices, including hands-on experience and documentation to maintain and extend the delivered solution.
